Hair Show MIST 2011

A spectacular International event is about to be held again by MAKARIZO this year with MAKARIZO International Salon Tour 2011 (MIST 2011). The biggest event in hairdressing world will be held on 9th - 13th of May 2011 and will take place in two countries, Malaysia and Singapore. This latest trend hair show will be presented in a concept of edutainment paired with a fascinating holiday trip around both countries.

This meaningful event embraces a noble purpose which is MAKARIZO and hundreds of international salon's professionals work together as a team to advance the world of hairdressing.

This proves that MAKARIZO sincerely and consistently held a splendid event in order to educate the latest hair trend to salon’s professionals. Surely these have made MAKARIZO as a trendsetter for hair trend and also encourage the improvement for hair and salon industry, then become a new reference for the latest international hair trend.  

Series of fascinating events are prepared by Makarizo to present an unforgettable view. The hair show, which will be held on Monday night, May 9th, at Grand Lagoon Ballroom, will dedicate the latest trend of 2011 from Makarizo, Energia - Tranquility and Enthusiastic. World class hairdresser from Australia, Ukraine, and Brazil will perform this newest trend which inspired by ENERGIA.


Dressed with Indonesia's top designer pieces and decorated beautifully with multi media attraction will set off this spectacular hair show. The show will be run in a stage of 20 meters long with top class model will swaying over the runway in Deden Siswanto's apparel.

12 Artistic Team Makarizo along with 7 international hairdresser such as Iryna Zaitseva and Oksana Nechyporuk (ICD Ukraine), Mauricio Pina and Miguel Estelrich (ICD Brazil), Vikki Brown, Judith Dierden, and Lisa Polini (Australia) fully collaborated with energy. These international hairdressers will perform with their best performance then will become even more outstanding when such reliable choreographer like Ari Tulang gives his most attractive show. Supported by a massive visual view, a 50 x 6 meters screen fills half of the circular hall with 9 projectors to create magnificent ambience. Not to mention 14 of Indonesian dancers and 9 Malaysian dancers who will melt and fused in one breathe of Energia.

Total look of model's faces are created by a unique touch from a top class make up artist, Qiqi Franky. His name already well known since Qiqi Franky has worked through entertainment world, electronic media, movies, and world class stages. The fanfare of MIST 2011 will also be continued and closed with an after party at Borneo Club as part of the Energia journey which full of passion and spirit in 2011 hair trend.

Starting with the theme "Energia....Enthusiastic and Tranquility",  MAKARIZO interprets 2011 hair trend with an inspiration which comes from the immortality of energy that can create a creative style with a high splendor for each side of character. Enthusiastic, represent a bubbly personality who passionate in joy and always vibrant in every moves, while Tranquility reflected serenity, pacifist, and silence in welfare.

Cutting and Styling form of Enthusiast are luxurious and edgy where straight-short hair will be one of the options to show the personality for those who like challenge, unique and full of confidence. Besides that, long wavy hair can be simply done by letting the wave unravel naturally, so that the natural sexiness will be fused with a dare to be different personality.

For Tranquility, classy and eternity are the red threads. Kind of straight-short hair which combined with asymmetrical fringe makes it looks icy and sharp as if it affirms a hidden identity behind the serenity. While for long hairstyle, Tranquility pick out a classic straight long lock which reflect the strength of suavity.

How about the hair colors? Hair color is a necessary component for having an exquisite total look for each character. A suitable color selection makes a solid self portfolio. Fairy Gold, Glowing Red, Stream Copper, and Fierce Brown from CONCEPT Advance Hair Color series are predicted to be the hair color trend in 2011 which will intensify the sensitivity of inspiration and creativity.

While for red with orange gradation from Red series -  Intense Red Blond 7.60, Irise Rd Blond 7.62 or Deep Red Blond 7.66 will be the preference for the Enthusiastic which full of confidence and want to look sexy, lure and draw attention.

• Stream Copper

Copper, which is the depiction of a bubbly orange color, can make a person stands out from the crowd. This year, Copper could be the option for those who want to show themselves off through hair color. Particularly for Asians, Copper hair color series from CONCEPT Color like Copper Chestnut 4.4, Light Copper Chestnut 5.4, and Dark Copper Golden Blond 6.43 match most for a gently firm personality of Tranquility. While Copper Blond 7.4, Rich Copper Blond 7.40 and Copper Golden 7.43 which are a fusion between copper with a tinge of fresh orange gives a daring look yet still charming of Enthusuastic.

• Fierce Brown

Brown is one of the colors which will still be fancied in 2011. This color also really works for Asian skin tone. There are lots of brown color options from CONCEPT Color series, e.g. Light Golden Chestnut 5.3 and Dark Golden Blond 6.3, a combination of brown with highlight, reflected an Enthusiastic personality with a dynamic and cheerful lifestyle. While graded brown will be the right preference for feminine yet chic Tranquility.

VIKKI BROWN

Her hairdressing career began 18 years ago and has provided her with a wealth of opportunity and experience. She believes that the only person who can hold you back in achieving your dreams and goals is yourself. She is inspired by life and fellow individuals who are risk takers.

Vikki brings to the Australian team a new style of Avant Garde in cutting, coloring and up styling. Vikki is all about trying something new and doing it with absolute conviction and style.

JUDITH DIERDEN
Over her 24 years of hairdressing Judith has worked in all areas of the hairdressing industry, giving her a wealth of knowledge she is only too happy to share with other hairdressers. Currently Judith owns a boutique salon in South Perth Western Australia. She has traveled nationally and internationally educating various groups of hairdressers. Jude was recently awarded an Australian Hairdressing Guild Colour Scholarship.

Judith is an exciting hairdresser and energetic business owner. Gifted at making the technical of color and extreme fashion user friendly she is worth watching whenever she performs.


LISA POLINI
Lisa has been running a very successful salon, Hype Hair Studio, for almost 10 years. Lisa is an astute business woman and her 9 strong salon team is focused on training, quality workmanship and photographic design. Always encouraging new talent in the industry, Lisa at Hype Hair is constantly training young people to be the talent of the future. Lisa has a great deal to share with other hairdressers both within her salon and to the industry in general. Lisa's salon and team have been nominated for numerous awards in the hairdressing industry.



UKRAINE

IRYNA ZAITSEVA
Mrs. Iryna Zaitseva is the current President of Intercoiffure Ukraine and has been in this position since 2005. Mrs. Zaitseva joined Intercoiffure in 2001. Since that time she has participated in two of the three shows that Ukraine presented on stage in Paris, at the great annual event Mondial Performance: in 2005 and in 2010. In 2006 Mrs. Zaitseva received the Intercoiffure Personality of the Year award and in 2009 she was honored with the title of the Knight of Ordre de la Chevalerie.

Mrs. Zaitseva is the owner and Art Director of the top class hairdressing salon 'Art-S' located in Kiev, Ukraine.  She also has a hair school in Kiev, where she holds seminars and master-classes for young and experienced hairdressers. Mrs. Zaitseva actively travels around Ukraine with hair shows and master-classes.  Mrs. Zaitseva's hair collections have been published in Ukraine and abroad in trade press and fashion magazines.

OKSANA NECHYPORUK

Miss Oksana Nechyporuk is a junior in the Intercoiffure Ukraine Section. Being a talented and creative hairdresser, she participated in Junior Seminars in Paris in 2007 and 2010, performing on stage during Mondial Performance shows. She actively cooperates with best Ukrainian fashion designers, takes part in photo shoots and travels in Ukraine with shows and master-classes. Miss Nechyporuk has won top places at the prestigious hair competitions Trend Vision Award in Ukraine.

BRAZIL


MIGUEL ESTELRICH
Miguel Estelrich, Argentinean from Mendoza and Brazilian as an option, he is a talented hairstylist in Brazil. This year he celebrates 27 years in this profession. He is Technical Director of Intercoiffure Brazil and has the title of Knight of the Ordre de la Chevalerie..
He takes several trips abroad restlessly hunting for trends. By doing so he is always ahead of time.

He has been part of the Intercoiffure Brazil team in many national and international events such as Mondial Performance, in Paris, Intercoiffure Germany, in Frankfurt, Intercoiffure Day, in Santiago, Chile, the 20th World Congress, in Rio de Janeiro, Hair Brasil, in Sao Paulo, and many others. Besides shows, he also teaches courses and workshops and his participation in the making up of collections and trends interpretation has been fundamental. Miguel owns the "Peluqueria" Salon, located in Blumenau, Santa Catarina - Brazil. He is a world citizen and there is no doubt he is one of the most respected professionals in his area.

MAURICIO PINA
He is Fashion Director of Intercoiffure Latin America and "Jacques Janine Beauty Salons"  - the largest chain of beauty salons in Brazil - as well. He has the title of Knight of the Ordre de la Chevalerie and he was "Personality of the Year" in 2009 by Intercoiffure Mondial. In 2003 he received the important award "Feminissima Intercoiffure Brasil" as Hairdresser of the year.He is member of Intercoiffure Mondial Artistic Team and one of the most recognized Hairdressers in South America. He has presented hair shows in many events in Brazil and all over the world, like Intercoiffure Mondial Congresses in Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro and several Mondial Performances in Paris. Besides shows, he also teaches courses and workshops and loves to do fashion productions for magazines. One of his passions is "Carnival", when his creations have no limit.
